Budget Scout does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All information you enter — including your budget, expense categories, and transactions — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

What We Don't Do

• We do not transmit any data over the internet
• We do not have access to your financial information
• We do not share any data with third parties

Legal Basis for Data Processing

All data processing occurs entirely on your device, at your direction and under your control. Budget Scout acts as a tool — similar to a calculator or notepad — that you use to organize your own financial information. The developer does not have access to, collect, or receive any data you enter. Because no personal data is transmitted or accessible to us, there is no data controller or data processor relationship as defined under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar privacy laws.

Data Storage

All data is stored exclusively on your device. If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed.

Your Control

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete any or all of your data within the app, or remove all data by uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

Budget Scout does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not collect any personal information from any user.
